1. Satisfaction Guarantee

PriatecSwap offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all our services. If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of our tours or services, we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution, which may include a partial or full refund at our discretion.

This guarantee applies to both one-time tours and multi-day packages.

2. Cancellation by Customers

2.1 Standard Tours and Services

For standard day tours and short excursions, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 7 days before the tour: Full refund minus a €10 administration fee
  • 3-7 days before the tour: 75% refund
  • 24-72 hours before the tour: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours before the tour: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

2.2 Custom and Multi-Day Tours

For custom itineraries and multi-day tours, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 45 days before the start date: Full refund minus a 10% deposit
  • 30-45 days before the start date: 75% refund
  • 15-29 days before the start date: 50% refund
  • 7-14 days before the start date: 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days before the start date: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

2.3 Group Bookings

For group bookings (6 or more people), the following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 60 days before the start date: Full refund minus a 15% deposit
  • 45-60 days before the start date: 70% refund
  • 30-44 days before the start date: 50% refund
  • 15-29 days before the start date: 25% refund
  • Less than 15 days before the start date: No refund

3. Cancellation Process

How to Request a Cancellation:

  1. Contact Us: Send your cancellation request by email to bookings@priatecswap.com or call us at +442127524941 during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM EET).
  2. Provide Details: Include your booking reference number, the name under which the booking was made, and the reason for cancellation.
  3. Confirmation: You will receive a cancellation confirmation email within 24 hours.
  4. Refund Processing: If applicable, refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation confirmation.

Important: Cancellations are only valid when confirmed in writing by PriatecSwap. The date of the cancellation confirmation email will be used to determine applicable refund amounts.

4. Modifications and Rescheduling

4.1 Modifications

If you need to modify your booking (such as changing the number of participants or specific services included), the following terms apply:

  • More than 7 days before the service date: No fee for modifications, subject to availability
  • 3-7 days before the service date: €15 modification fee, plus any difference in price
  • Less than 3 days before the service date: Modifications not guaranteed and subject to a €30 fee if possible

4.2 Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your tour or service to a different date, the following terms apply:

  • More than 14 days before the original date: One free reschedule, subject to availability
  • 7-14 days before the original date: €20 rescheduling fee
  • 3-6 days before the original date: €40 rescheduling fee
  • Less than 3 days before the original date: Treated as a cancellation and new booking (standard cancellation policy applies)

All rescheduled services must be completed within 6 months of the original date. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

5. Cancellation by PriatecSwap

We reserve the right to cancel tours under certain circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Unsafe weather conditions or natural disasters
  • Insufficient number of participants for group tours
  • Unexpected closure of attractions or sites included in the tour
  • Force majeure events

In the event that PriatecSwap cancels a tour or service, you will be offered the following options:

  • Reschedule the tour for a later date at no additional cost
  • Select an alternative tour of equal or greater value (with no additional cost)
  • Receive a 100% refund of all amounts paid

If PriatecSwap cancels a tour due to insufficient participants, we will notify you at least:

  • 48 hours in advance for day tours
  • 7 days in advance for multi-day tours

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Refund Method

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original booking:

  • Credit/debit card payments will be refunded to the same card
  • Bank transfer payments will be refunded to the originating account
  • Cash payments will be refunded via bank transfer (bank details required)

6.2 Refund Timeframe

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation confirmation. However, please note that it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

6.3 Currency and Fees

All refunds will be issued in the original currency of payment. Please note that PriatecSwap is not responsible for any currency conversion fees or charges imposed by your bank or payment provider.

7. Special Circumstances

7.1 Health Emergencies

In case of serious illness or injury that prevents you from participating in a booked tour, we may offer more flexible cancellation terms. Written documentation from a medical professional may be required.

7.2 Travel Disruptions

If significant travel disruptions (such as flight cancellations or major transportation strikes) prevent you from reaching Latvia or participating in your booked tour, we will work with you to reschedule or find an appropriate solution. Supporting documentation may be required.

7.3 Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (such as natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, or other events beyond our reasonable control), modified cancellation policies may apply. Each situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

8. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage. Good travel insurance can protect you against financial loss if you need to cancel your trip due to covered reasons.

9. Policy Changes

PriatecSwap reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to bookings made after the posting date. The refund policy in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.
